GRANT WRITER
Will be responsible for planning, directing and coordinating
WSHA's grant funds to Insure that goals, objectives and fiscal
operations of the program are accomplished in accordance
with prescribed priorities, time limitation, and funding condi
tions. Responsible for all actions necessary to produce and
obtain grant funds, including writing and submissions of
grant proposals. Review project proposals to determine meth
ods and procedures for accomplishment of project, staffing

project in accordance with funding and grant requirements.
Requests assignment of personnel according to staffing plan.
To review project plans, delegate responsibilities for phases of

WSHA financial procedures, establish budget control system
for controlling expenditures. Review project reports on status
of each phase of projects and modify schedules as necessary.
Provide project status reports as required. May coordinate

consultants to assist with phases of projects as required by
the particular grant. Develops, writes and submits grant pro
posals for additional funds. Review necessary Federal Regis
ters and other sources for available grant monies. Maintain
records and files of all programs, funding and documenta
tion. Must prepare public information materials explaining
programs for radio, television and printed media and present
oral presentations to interested groups. Coordinate fiscal
activities with the Director of Administration. Evaluate subor
