A&T Reps Visit ORNL Representatives from North Carolina A&T University visiting Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL), Oak Ridge, Tenn., outlined plans to implement doctoral programs in electrical and mechanical engineering at the university in the fall of 1993. North Carolina A&T University is one of ORNL's partners in the Science and Technology Alliance, a program sponsored by the Department of Energy (DOE) to increase the representation of blacks, Hispanics and American Indians in energy-related fields of science and technology.
