Grayhounds Take 4 to 6 from the Packer Grayhounds take four of six from the Packers Packers vs Grayhounds Flag An undefeated Grayhounds team defeated the winless Packers 20-12. The Packers took an early lead in the contest dominating the first half but the Grayhounds came 13-13 tic with the Grayhcyjnds. Amos scored on runs of 34 and 42 yards. Robinson Heeds Warning GRAMBLING, La. - Grambling State head coach Eddie Robinson said on Tuesday that he doesn't want his team's fans to allow Jackson to <4take over' ' Robinson Stadium Sat urday afternoon. Robinson s comments came at the Tigers' weekly press brunch. He said that in past years Jackson State fans have taken over an entire side of the stadium and have been more j vocal than GSU's fans. The two teams meet at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Grambling. "I don't know what's wrong with our fans, but the last time they (JSU fans) were here, they just took over," said Robinson, "They said that in Saturday's game with South ern, the fans made the difference. We don't want them coming in here doing more cheering than we're doing. A capacity crowd is expected in 20,000-seat Robinson Stadium for the big Southwestern Athetic Con ference showdown. The game has implications toward the SWAC title. Grambling and Jackson State have won or shared 18 of the past 21 league crowns.
