4 1 Tiny Indians Booster Club Holds Raffle The Tiny Indian's Booster Club ' held a raffle on Tuesday, March 22 | ; at the 14th Street Recreation Center 1 1 at 7 p.m. Mary Fulton was the win ? ; ner of the first prize ($100). A check | for $100 Was presented to Fulton by i Thomas Dalton, Jr., son of Mr. and j Mrs. Thomas Dalton, Sr. He is one > 1 of many players for the Tiny Indians ! Football League. The second prize ? . ($75) went to James Jones and third ? prize ($25) went to Matthew Peter ' son. The Booster Club will have a ! Fish Fry and Yard Sale every other r . Saturday, beginning Saturday, April 2 on the corner of 5th and Laurel Wall, across from the Winston Mutual Building. This will also be the first sign-up for the Tiny Indians Football, cheerleaders, majorettes and dancing boots. Eric Denker to Hold Lecture at Reynolda House Eric Denker, Head of Tour and Lectures, Education Division, National Gallery of Art, will lecture on "An Introduction to Printmak ing" on Thursday, April 7 at 10 a.m. at Reynolda House Museum of American Art. The cost of the lec ture is $3. ? ? ?? I. Denker received his Bachelor of Arts_in Art History, cum laude. from Dickinson College, Master of Arts from the^ University of Mary land, and his Ph.D. from the Univer sity of Virginia. In 1989 he received the Robert H. Smith Fellowship from the National Gallery of Art. His topic was Impressionist Print making. Denker has been with the National iiaiiery of" An since 1980^ He supervises six full-time lectures and additional part-time staff who prepare and deliver talks on Special exhibitions and the permanent col lection. Since 1988 Denker has been professor at Georgetown University and Georgetown Alumni College. " Angus MacLachlan to Perform at SECCA in April ' winston-Salem actor/play wright, Angus MacLachlan will per form his most recent work Bound and Gagged pt the Southeastern Center for -Contemporary Art (SECCA). The performance will take place in SECCA's McChesney Scott Dunn Auditorium on Friday, April 29 at 7:30 p.m. Like the earlier Marginal Liv ing. Bound and Gagged is a one man drama, written and performed by MacLachlan. An fcerily evocative musical score by Rhan Small, of the performance group Three People , is interwoven with MacLachlan's darkly poetic story of the throw away lives of his characters. Bound and Gagged is work in a very differ ent vein from Winston-Salem's pre mier resident playwright. Tony Brown of the Charlotte* Observer stated, . If you are up to facing your own monsters and weaknesses, you should not let this incisive, exacting one-man tour de-force skip town without catching it."
