He was retired employee of the City of Winston-Salem Sanitation Department. He was a member of Zion Memorial Baptist Church. Avery is survived by a daughter, Ella Mae Williams of Winston-Salem; a son, James Avery, of Philadelphia; six grandchildren, Zeb Sheff Sr., Mary Louise Wilkes, Barbara Rankins, Mary Alice Sheff all of Winston-Salem, R.L. Sheff of Oak Ridge, and JoAnn Sheff of Decantuer, Ga.; a host of great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Services were held May 13 in Frances and Jetry Gilmore Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Zavious Pratt officiating. Burial followed in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. Gilmore' s Funeral Directors handled arrangements. CREAMER 'Eddie "Barry" Lloyd Creamer of 202 Parker Street, died May 6 at Forsyth Memorial Hospital. . , He was a retired employee of Dixie Furniture Company and was presently employed at Sophona Club. ? ? Creamer is survived by two daughters, Darlene and Mar garet Ann Creamer both of Lexington; a son, Gregory Creamer of Lexington; two step-sons, James Smith and Varner Lee For tune both of Lexington; seven grandchildren; two great grand children; his father, Rufus Curry of Lexington; a brother, Luther Creamer of Lexington; a devoted friend, Charles Poole of Lexington; a host of other relatives and friends. Services were held May 9 in Frances and Jeny Gilmore Memorial Chapel with the Bishop Joe Mcintosh officiating. Burial followed in Lexington City Cemetery.
