"Only 13 of the 73 initial
signees we've had were from
other teams," she said. "They are
tickled to stay in their own
neighborhood."
The Panthers will be based
out of South Fork Elementary
School where they will practice
and play games. There will be
registration on April 29 from 10
a.m. -2 p.m. at the school for any
one wishing to play next fall.
Prospects must bring their birth
certificate and report- card at thr
?time of sign up along with a $75
entry fee.
Presently there are 10 adult
volunteers spearheading the pro
ject, but more are needed, says
Crooks. "We need adult volun
teers. We encourage adults to
volunteer even if they don't have
a kid in the league."

the field, I feel like I'm the best
player out there. I feel like the
better the competition, the better
I am. I've always felt like the
abilities I possess are second to
none at my position."
