GUILFORD COUNTY SCHOOL SYSTEM
Sealed proposals will be received by the Guil
ford County School System until 2:00 p.m. local
time on November 2,1995 in the Purchasing
Department, 900 English Road, High Point, NC
27262, and immediately thereafter publicly
opened and read for the renovation and instal
lation of science laboratories at Dudley,
Andrews, Page, Aycook, and Kiser Schools,
Guilford County, Ndrttf Carolina. " ^
The resulting contract will be to furnish all
labor, supervision, materials and equipment
necessary to perform the work as shown on the
plans and described in the project specifica
tions.
No bid may be withdrawn after the schedule
closing of bids for a period of 45 days.
Each proposal must be made on the blank bid
form provided and must be enclosed in a
sealed envelope and addressed to Barbara
Durham, Purchasing Department, 900 English
Road, High Point, NC 27262. The name and
address of the bidder must be plainly written on
the outside of the envelope and the envelope
marked "Bid No. 1763 - Bid for Science Labo
ratory Renovations at Dudley, Andrews, Page,
Aycook, and Kiser Schools."
Proposals must be accompanied by a 5% bid
deposit in the form of (1) cash, (2) cashier's
check, (3) certified check, or (4) a bid bond
executed by a corporate surety licensed under
the laws of North Carolina to execute such
bond. Performance and Labor and Materials
Payment Bonds will be required in the amount
of 100% of the contract price.

plans and specifications may be obtained by
