She is pursuing a nursing degree at Forsyth Technical Community College iji Winston-Salem. She is employed as a medical lranscriptionist at North Carolina Baptist Hospital jn Winston-Salem. \ The groom, son'of Annie W. Foster of JDanville. Va., is a graduate of Virginia State Uni versity in Petersburg. He has an associate degree in paralegal technology from Enroth Torhnir.il ^Community College. The bride is the daughter of Emily Evans and L. Leon Pendarvis Jr. and the granddaughter ot' Mr. and Mrs. Joe N. Norman and EloiSe Pendarvis. She is a graduate of Prairie View A&M University in Texas and attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas for graduate studies. She is currently the district director of learning for the Life Program of the Greater New York Councils of the Boy Scouts of America. The groom, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Mur den. is a graduate of New York City Technical Uni 1 versity. He is currently the exploring director of the I Greater New York Councils of the Boy Scouts of I America. The Rev. Donald Jenkins conducted the cere mony. The reception was held at the Sawtooth Center. the art center and galleries sponsored by the Arts Council of Winston-Salem. The groom is the son of Mildred Smith of La Grange. The bride was escorted by her father. The maid of honor was Tiffany Scott of Winston-Salem. The brides maids were LaTeesha Scott of Maze Landing. N.J.; Iris Mobley of Charlotte; Shanthony Ways of La Grange; and Stacy Green of Greens boro. Juan Williams of La Grange was the.best man. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Sawtooth Building. After a honeymoon trip to Daytona Beach. ^uru Fla., the couple will live in Charlotte, N.C. Happy 50th Anniversary!
