sometime hold grudges too
long.
We must help our children
have wisdom. We must not
complain so much about the
present and past that we can't
dream about the future. Our
children should be ready and
prepared to inherit the family
business. The doors of the
business must be kept open.
We tlnn'l hI;?me unmpttnn aIc?
for our faults if things are not
working oif?. We must not
declare bankruptcy. Think
about what we were supposed
to be doing. Some of us can
pray better, counsel better,
teach, encourage, and guide.
Sometimes we want to bury
the notion of giving guidance.
Find out what we have been
called to do in life. Ask God
for directions. Recognize God
to be your Senior Business
Partner, Meet with God in
prayer. Wait for an answer.
Listen. God will advise you
and watch over you.
Irvin concluded her speech
by reminding the Achievers to
pass the business secrets
along. Keep the doors open.
Know where you are headed.

beauticians shampoo,

SPECIAL TO THE CHRONICLE
Winston-Salem Beauti
cians Association Chapter 2
continues to serve in our com
munity, using some of the
Helping Hands Members, a
group within the beauticians
association.
Evangelist Dr. Deborah
Alford, Dr. Lenora Washing
ton and Lisa Searcy gave
some of the residents of Salem
House Nursing Home a treat
for Valentine's Day: the cos
metologists shampooed, cut
and styled the hair of eight
residents of the nursing home.
The residents were overjoyed
and wanted all of the beauty
services the cosmetologists
could offer. Afterward those
residents paraded around the
home for all to see them. After
several hours of work, these
cosmetologists had to leave
because of previous appoint
ments and other duties that
had to be met. Sacrificing and
rescheduling are regular parts
of our business. We will make
time to go back and serve
again.
The members of Winston
Salem Beauticians Chapter 2
encourage all of the licensed
cosmetologists to join us and
become faithful working
members to help with all the
social, political, personal and
community works that we are
involved in throughout the
year. We need your support so
that this organization may
continue through generations
to come. This year, we are
preparing to celebrate our
64th anniversary and
Founders Day. ? /
