Human Relations Award Winner The Rev. Kelly Carpenter of Green Street United Methodist Church poses with a few mem bers of his congregation. The church boasts a multira cial, multicultural congregation and offers many programs that benefit the community, such as tutorial services and a free health clinic. Human Relations Award Winner Imam Khalid Griggs accepts his Human Relations Award from Ty Travis of Time Warner Cable. Griggs leads the Community Mosque and runs a program for at-risk teens in the city-county school system. Griggs was honored for his efforts to enlighten the local pub lic about Islam after the Sept. II attacks.
