Religion Upcoming Church Events June 7 through July 30 Summer Enrichment Camp Galilee Missionary Bap tist Church Summer Enrich ment Camp will begin June 7 and end July 30. This camp is open to ages 5-12. Our focus is reading/math enrichment, writing and cultural arts. Weekly field trips are planned. Lunch and a snack are included. July Community Youth Expo Community Youth Expo, sponsored by Macedonia Worship Center, 500 Kinard Drive, will have Community Youth Choir rehearsal (all youths are invited to partici pate) July 5 and July 6 at 6:30 p.m. On July 7 and July 8 Youth Conference Service will be at 7 p.m. On July 9 at 7 p.m.. H.Y.P.E. Night will feature choirs, duos, solos, and liturgical dancers. July 10 at noon, Praisefest Block Party will be held. There will be step teams from Macedo nia Worship, Union Baptist, Spencer Memorial, and many more. Registration is $10 for the entire week. Sedgefteld Drive. Jordan has been pastoring 3 1/2 years but has the zeal for win ning soul*. He said that he not only wants to win souls, he wants to nurture our young men and women to let them know that there is a better way of life. Jordan has already started the vision that God has given him for the outreach center. Grading and trees are being knocked down to extend the boundaries for a bas ketball court, playground, and a new building. Pastor Rip Wilkins will coor dinate the street ministry and sem inar Saturday, July 3. This event will start with prayer from 8:30 to 9 a.m. A seminar on how to be an effective witness and soul winner will he from 9 to 10 a.m. From 1 0 a.m. to 12 p.m., there will be street ministry (communi ty). The House of Faith Jubilee Celebration will be held alter the street ministry. Praise teams, youth and adult choirs, testi monies and God's word will be heard. Hot dogs, fish and ham burgers will be given away. Everyone is welcome. Come bring a friend. For information, call 785 1181. Jordan Rev. C.E. Gray receives master and doctoral degrees SIM CIA! IS 'HI CHRONK I I Rev. C.E. Gray graduated from Andersonville Theological Seminary on May 28. He received his master and doctor al degrees. Out of 65 students, he graduated summa cum laude in his class. Doctor Charles Edward Gray was born in Greenville. N.C.. He was educated in the public schools undeceived his bachelor of science degree in political science from Fayet leville State University. He moved to Winston Salem in 1972. where he united with St. Stepheh Missionary Baptist Church. In 1978 he felt his calling from God to deliver Rev. Dr. C.E. Gray His word, and on Jan. 1 1, 1979. he preached his first sermon. On Nov. 4. 1979, he was installed as the pastor of Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 1301 E. Belews Street. He has been blessed with a lovely wife for some 40 years. Eula Harlee Gray of Laurin burg; two sons, Andr? and Michael; one grandson. Charles Michael; and one granddaugh ter, Chau Dre. Dr. Gray and Mt. Olive Baptist Mass Choir have pro duced two gospel tapes. "Let God Be God" and "Magnify Him," and he has written and presented three plays. "Let God Be God," "Order My Steps" and "The Upper Room to Cal vary." He is a very dedicated minister who strives to save lost souls.
