Hatcher of Rural Hall. She is
a graduate of the University
North Carolina at
Wilmington and is a member
of Alpha Kappa Alpha
Sorority. She is employed as
a Crime Scene Technician
with the Winston-Salem
Police Department.
The groom is the son of
Mr and Mrs. Lenwood
2 n tl den Sr' of Rufal
Hall. He 1S a veteran of the
U.S. Navy and is employed as
a driver for Cypress Trucking.
The bride was escorted by
tor father., The maid of
Honor was Missie Purdie of
Lumberton. The bridesmaids
were Shaunda Darden
LaToyia Fulp, Tameika
? P?dwin, Linda Golden,
Lynetta Patterson, and
Juanetta Smith.
The Best Man was the
groom's brother, Lenard
Golden of Rural Hall. The
Groomsmen were James
Brandon, Anthony Fennel,
Louis Hatcher, Gaton
LeCompte, Kenny Sprinkle,
and Sean Stanback.
Bible bearers were the
groom s niece and nephew,
Dalyne Patterson and Jaylon
Tood. The groom's nieces
LaTrease Golden and
Tatiyanna Henry were the
flower girls. The ring bearer
was the bride's cousin
Stephen Myers and the bell
ringer was the bride's cousin,
Zakia Fulp.
Wedding music was pro
vided by Bill Carpenter,
Roger Morrison, and Irwintte
Redd. The flowers and
church decorations were pro
vided by Nellie Renee Brown.
The bridesmaid's attire was

Inspirations and the grooms

Following the ceremony, a
celebration was held at
Catered Affairs where the
bride and groom, family, and
friends enjoyed a plated din
ner, and live entertainment
provided by the Phase Band,
and standup comedian Tyrone
Davis.
After a honeymoon trip to
the Western Caribbean, the
couple will reside in Winston
Salem.

University of North Carolina
with a Juris Doctor's Degree
from the School of Law. Dr.
Hairston is a Cum Laude
graduate of Wake Forest
University. He earned his
Master 's and Doctorate
degrees from the University
of Virginia.
He is presently employed
by Elon University in the
Department of English. Dr.
Hairston is the husband of
Cherry Cevy Hairston, MD
and the father of Graham
Michael Hairston. He is the
son of Dr. Edward E. and
Marian Anderson Hairston.
