I nGreensboZ W'nSton'Salem a"?ded services at the Friendship Community Church of God Bless the Children/ Family Outreach Program joins, the G ' boro church SPECIAL TO THE CHRONICLE .When Johnell and Debra Hunter were called into the ministry of helping, teaching and evangelizing, they knew that it would require traveling and crossing the borders beyond their native towns of Winston-Salem and Statesville. For over 24 years they have covered just about every community and society in Forsyth County. Only and through the grace of^od, supporters and friends, th^ Bless The Children Program/Family Outreach Ministries has been a blessing to many people. The Hunters say that the Bible tells us to '"go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature!' That means for every Christian and minister to share the good news of God's love with every man or woman across the world, whether they be young or old, rich or poor." Winston-Salem was very receptive of their ministry. The Hunters loved the city, . whether ministering on the streets, radio or TV. But the time came foyihem to venture out. ? , T During 2005, the Huigeiy had an opportunity to meet a young couple and their family in High Point, while on a fam ily picnic. They shared their ideas about praise and wor ship and evangelism with them and were invited to attend their ? church. The Hunters visited the church for six months and then joined. Since then, the Lord has truly blessed the Bless the Children Program/Family Outreach Ministries with outreach helpers. The church has also purchased a passenger bus to pick up worshipers from Winston-Salem to Greensboro. Friendship Community Center of God has been very active in the Piedmont Triad area. They have joined forces with Bless the Children Program Family Outreach Ministries to train future gen erations. Each Sunday the members and visitors share a fulfilling, nutritious and delicious meal after service. They are very grateful to have the pastor and his wife to give good biblical teaching to everyone. The church has a lot to offer the youth, such as biblical teach ing, mission trips, community service, give-a-ways, award certificates, mentoring and Christian activities. Adults and families find the church a good word church, with a diverse and multicultural environment with classes from many ethnic groups.
