SPECIAL TO THE CHRONICLE
Mount Olive Baptist Church will celebrate
its TV Ministry Program on June 29 at 4 p.m.
The guest speaker will be the Rev. Stacey
Frazier and congregation of Friendship Baptist
Church.
Frazier has indeed lifted some eyebrows
with his level of dedication, as he was licensed
to preach at the ripe old age of 10. He has com
plemented his obvious aptitude for preaching
with the array of degrees he has amassed, from
the likes of schools such as Morehouse
College, where he studied theology as an
undergrad while pastoring Shady Grov*
Baptist Church in Pelham, N.C.
Frazier went on to attend Duke Divinity
School and the Apex School of Theology. He
served as pastor at Shady Grove for four years
before stepping down in 2003 to become an
associate pastor at New Life Baptist in
Greensboro. Rev. Frazier used to do revivals at
the Solid Rock Baptist Church when he was
about 12-years-old. He would stand up on a lit
tle box so he could look over the pulpit and
preach.
The public is cordially invited to attend this
service. The church is at 1301 C. E. Gray
Drive. Dr. Charles E. Gray is the host pastor.
