"The
church is a
vital organ
ism in the life
of any com

order for the
church to
remain rele
vant it must
serve the
Rev. Lartey needs of its
people.
Through
Angel Food Ministries, Goler Memorial seeks
to serve the needs of the people we serve," said
the church's pastor, the Rev. Dr. Seth O. Lartey.
Goler Memorial had its first
distribution/pick up day in September and has

Angel Food Ministry Director Tracie Hunter
Bowens, the program has benefited all sorts of
people.
"We want to dispel the myth that this is a
program for people who are in a certain income
bracket," she said. "This program is for anyone
who is being affected by our economy and
wants to provide food for themselves and their
families and friends."
The November order deadline is Sunday,
Nov. 9, due to the Thanksgiving Holiday, and
the Distribution/Pick-Up Date is Saturday, Nov.
