Ziort Baptist Church.

in charge of the planning of
the conference'. . The
Regional Director of The

Achiever Shirley Eaton is
the Assistant Regional
Director Achiever Helen
Alexander is the National
First Vice President of the
organisation and js also the
President of the Quefen City
chapter of National Women
of Achievement. ' Several
other NWOA members
played a role in -conference,
which featured a workshop
on Politeness, Refinement ,
Order. Tact. Objective,
Courtesy Obligation and
Line Up;" a panel on
women's health issues: and
the 'presentation of cultural
arts awards to local- youths.

On Tuesday. May 5 in Greensboro, $40,000 in scholar*
? ships were awarded to 40 Triad-area students from Ronald
McDonald House. Charities recognising outstanding aca
demic and community achievement. The local scholars are
.imong- 20< students from across-the Carolinas who received
college scholarships from the RMHC of North Carolina.

skills, academic success, community involvement, financial
