Ebenezer Baptist Church,

integrity to the Rising
Ebenezer family. Brown was

event to celebrate the choir's
anniversary. It will be on June 7.
Smith will be accompanied by
the musician Julie Hunter. The
Voices of God's Children was
organized by Smith, who is the
organist ana cnoir director or
the Chancel Choir at Grace
Presbyterian and the Sanctuary
Choir at Greater First United Baptist
Church in High Point.
The main highlights of the concert are
two anthems composed by Dr. Roy L,
Belfield, an assistant professor of music,
university organist and assistant director
of choral studies at Winston-Salem State
University.

the Flame of Radical Ministry,"
from May 29-31 .
Host pastor, the Rev. Yvonne
H. Hines, says the event is
orchestrated to mentor, motivate,
empower and inspire women (and
men) to utilize their natural and
spiritual gifts for the advance
ment of their communities and
the world at large. Keynote
speakers include Prophetess
Marcia Morrison of North
Brunswick, N.J., a noted author,
preacher, psalmist, corporate
strategist, business coach, entre
preneur, mentor and mother; and
Pastor Tiny Lucas of Wilmington,
Del., a noted psalmist and orator
who has traveled the nation pro
claiming the Gospel.
Sessions will begin Friday at
7:30 p.m., with a message from
Morrison, and continue at noon
on Saturday, with a Prophetic
Worship Encounter. Sunday's
events, which will feature Lucas,
will be at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. The
