Fine Arts Camp Covenant Presbyterian Church will host a Fine Arts Camp for grades 5-12 from Monday, July 6 - Thursday, Aug. 13 (on Mondays - Thursdays only). Free lunch program for kids Apostle Sylvester Davis Johnson and the Macedonia Worship Center, 500 Kinard Drive, will sponsor a free summer lunch program for children 18 and under in July. Oglesby. pastor of Westside Baptist Church in Robbins. Oglesby is a native of Winston-Salem who was licensed and ordained through the High Point Educational and Missionary Baptist Association. Oglesby is a for mer associate minister at Phillips Chapel, and from 2000-2002 he was the interim pastor. On April 9. 2006 Westside Missionary Baptist Church welcomed Rev. Oglesby as its pastor. He established the following motto for the church. "A Church Committed to Building the Kingdom of God. One Soul at a Time" based on Acts 2:41-47. He and his wife. Wanda, have two children. Ephesus Seventh Day Adventist holds graduation ceremonies SPECIAL TO [HE CHRQNK I I ? Ephesus Seventh Day Adventist Church recently held commencement services for both its Junior Academy and Preschool Program. The preschool graduates are Amonpae Bennett. Jadai Damon, Rochester Damon III, Christopher Hawkins and Kai Jeffreys. Mary Duncan, a retired elementary school teacher, served as the keynote speaker for the kids' graduation program. She encouraged the children to continue to work hard to metit their goals, and to be obedient to their parents and their teachers, just as Jesus was obedient to His Father. Five eighth-graders graduated from the Ephesus Junior Academy - Karria N. Taylor, Carlos J. Lizardo (highest honor), Teshiyah L. Lindsay (honors). Delando C. Skinner (higher honor) and Domini? "This is important because Jesus was a ser vant. And God will allow you to climb high er and, higher that you would not believe." she explained. Each graduate was given a growing plant to represent their growth and creativity. Ephesus Adventist Educational Program has been in existance for h'arahrr over 50 years.
