ISP is hosting a toy drive to benefit Brenner Children's Hospital and Santa's Helper. The drive will be Saturday, Dec. 5, from 1 1 a.m. to 6 p.m. at ISP's offices at 541 N. This is an exhibition of spe cially created shoes in memory of artist, art advocate and friend, Kelly Petersen. In honor of Petersen, whose one of many passions was shoes, the community is invited to submit shoe shrines to be displayed at 5IVE & 40RTY and to be auctioned on Friday, Nov. 13 with proceeds to ben efit the Kelly Jo Petersen Scholarship at UNCSA School of Design and Production. All you need is an old ' shoe, paint, glitter, hot glue and any other decorations. Please make sure that there is a hanging device on the back of the shoe (i.e. a sawtooth hanger).
