Partnership provides services to Rolling Hills families SPECIAL TO THE CHRONICLE GIDE Youth Education Academy is collaborating with the New Cannaan Society, Delmarva, the Midtown Cafe and Urban Family Initiatives to provide hot meals, Bible studies and other services to families who live in Rolling Hills Apartments. The services are offered twice a month. According to program coordinators, the nutri tious meals served are a stop-gap for families whose food stamps or pay checks don't extend to the end of the month. Bible studies and family involvement activities are intended to support fami lies in their physical, spiritual, emotional and social development. The partners came together specifically to help Rolling Hills, which is infamous for its high crime and teen pregnancy rates. There are also many single-parent fami lies in the complex, which is located off New Walkertown Road.
