This is the Black
Rep's 13th year perform
ing the show, which fea
tures a cast of local
actors, singers, dancers
and musicians, many of
whom have been a part of
the show from the very
beginning. Carlotta
Fleming is one such cast
member. Her daughter.
Zakiyyah Niang. is now
also a member of the cast.
Kennethia Mason, the
daughter of cast member
Billie Johnson. will
return as Mary; Wayne
Jones will reprise his role
as Joseph. The newest
cast members include
Aaliyah Hairston and
Rachel Fuqua. both mem
bers of the NCBRC Teen
Theatre Ensemble.
Tony Gillion returns
as music director, and
Frenchie LaVern is the
