Morgan Elementary will hold
a career fair next week.

On Monday, April 16, W. Frank Morgan Elementary
School is hosting its Annual Career Fair.
1 spoke with Norma E. Corley, school counselor at the
school. “This event provides our third, fourth and fifth
graders an overview of different occupations for them to
pursue and, possibly, get an idea of what they may want
to be when they grow up.” The presenters will have para
phernalia, instruments that pertain to their occupation,
displays and giveaways for the students.
The fair will begin at 9 a.m. Students will rotate
among the tables with a notebook to obtain such informa
tion as what education is needed for this occupation, how
much money can you expect to make, what makes this job
fun, and other questions. Corley said she’s very excited
about the Career Fair. “I love to see the different compa
nies come share their expertise and provide valuable
information to our students. It really builds their confi
dence to dream beyond their circumstances.”
Corley said some of the confirmed Career Fair partic
