Bond Order Authorizing the Issuance of
Not to Exceed $23,000,000 General Obli
gation Refunding Bonds of the County of
Forsyth, North Carolina
WHEREAS, the County of Forsyth, North
Carolina (the “County”) has previously is
sued its (1) Variable Rate General Obligation
School Bonds, Series 2004A, (2) Variable
Rate General Obligation School Bonds, Se
ries 2004B, and (3) Variable Rate General
Obligation School Bonds, Series 2007B (col
lectively, the “Prior Bonds”);
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of
the County (the “Board of Commissioners”)
deems it advisable to refund certain maturi
ties of the Prior Bonds (the “Refunded
Bonds”);
WHEREAS, an application has been filed
with the Secretary of the Local Government
Commission of North Carolina requesting
Commission approval of the bonds here
inafter described as required by the Local
Government Bond Act, and the Secretary of
the Local Government Commission has no
tified the Board of Commissioners that the
application has been accepted for submission
to the Local Government Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED
by the Board of Commissioners as follows:
Section 1. The Board of Commissioners
deems it advisable to refund the Refunded
Bonds.
Section 2. To raise the money required to pay
the costs of refunding the Refunded Bonds as
set forth above, bonds of the County are
hereby authorized and shall be issued pur
suant to the Local Government Bond Act of
North Carolina. The maximum aggregate
principal amount of such bonds authorized
by this bond order shall be and not exceed
$23,000,000.
Section 3. Taxes will be levied in an amount
sufficient to pay the principal and interest of
the bonds authorized by this bond order.
Section 4. A sworn statement of the County’s
debt has been filed with the Clerk to the
Board of Commissioners and is open to pub
lic inspection.
Section 5, This bond order shall take effect
on its adoption.
The foregoing order was adopted on the 1st
day of March, 2021. Any action or proceed
ing questioning the validity of the order must
be begun within 30 days after the date of
publication of this notice. The Chief Finan
cial Officer of the County has filed a state
ment estimating that the total amount of
interest that will be paid on the bonds over
the expected term of the bonds, if issued, is
$429,318.85. The estimate is preliminary, is
for general informational purposes only, and
may differ from the actual interest paid on the
bonds

seeking relief against you have been filed

of Termination of your Parental Rights
with respect to the above-referenced child
pursuant to N.C.G.S. 7B-1111.
You are required to make a written answer
to the Petitions alleging to Terminate
Parental Rights within forty (40) days
after the date of this notice; and upon your
failure to make a defense to the Petitions
within the 40 day period specified herein
or to attend the hearing on the said Peti
