Collins ith the initials. "D, R"., and tho figures, '1843" on its shell. At the time it was caught last . year Mr. Daniel Eiggan, of Wake Forest, said that he marked his initials on a terrapin in lc-13 while he was living at the same place that Mr. Col lins now lives, the Acy Gecrgs place, and therefore he thought it nmsfc be the same terrapin but . before Mr. r-iggan was heard from Mr. Collins cut his initials and the figures 1895 on the terrapin and turned the old fellew aloose. Since that tima Mr. Collins has been on the lookout for him and last week ran upon the stima said old terrapin which is now in the possession of Messrs Biggan Bros, of this place, tons of Mr. Daniel Riggan, ne is evidently the same old terrapin and must be fifty three years old. in that capacity for over fourteen vcars.
