I PERSONAL 1 Miss Jessie Dickens, of Wel don, was in town Thursday. Miss Rosa Perry, of Mac in, was in town Thursday. Mrs. Martin, from Lynchburg, is visiting Dr. Booth's family this week. Miss Henri tta Booth has. been attending the Summor SchooJ at Chapel Hill and has from there gone to Statesville avd Waynes ville on a visi to friends. Mr. Lafayette Eaton of Wash ington, was in town this week. Dr. Horace Palmer, of Vaugh an, was in the city this week. Mr. Pinnell, of Afton was here this week. Mr. Frank Hunter, of Afton, was in town this week. Mr. Milton McGuire. of Rocky; are always glad to see him. Mount visited friends here this week. Mrs. Draffin. of Norlina, was in town Thursday. Mr. John S. Davis, accom panied by his daughter, Miss Eva. was in town Thurssday. Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Gardner and Miss Kate Monroe, are spending sometime in Ashe ville. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas D. Peck are in Pittsfield. Mass. Mrs. M. P. Burwell attended District Conference at Roanoke Rapids Wednesday. Mr. John Bullock, of Nutbush, spent Saturday here. Mr. Hope Bullock, of Nut bush, was in town Saturday. Mr. George Ellington, of Nut bush, was in town Monday. Mr. J. Byrd Ellington, of Nut bush, was in town Monday. Mr. Bob Rose, of Franklinton. spent Sunday here- His friends Mr. J. A. Macon, of Hendtr son visited here this week. Miss Kate Gardner, of Church ill, visited here this week. Messrs. C. N.
