THE BILL TO REMOVE DISABIL ITIES, of general interest we pub lish in this issue the hill which recently passed the House of Representative re moving tbe political disabilities of about 200 North Carolinians, omitting ihu names of thoe from the Eastern comities. were aroused by a rry of fire at about 18 o'clock on Sunday night. It was soon found that Mr. llorah'a baru ou Cooper Street, was in flame, which was speedily consumed. No other damize was done. There are various speculations as to the origin of the fire.
