' « MISS CAROLYNIOCKERMAM FETED BY JOINT HOSTESSESS AT ERWIN Mesdames Carl Lucas, Tommy Godwin and Harry Earnshaw, Jr-v. delightfully entertained at a bridal' shower at the home of Mrs. Lucas Wednesday evening, complimenting Miss Carolyn Lockerman, bride elect of April. The living room, dining room and den were thrown en suite for the occasion, and a profusion of mixed spring flowers were artis tically used in each room. When the honoree arrived she was presented a corsage of pink baby orchids tied with pink ribbons and wedding bells, and shown to her place beside a table piled high with lovely gifts. After she had opened her gifts several bridal games and contests were enjoyed and prizes were awarded to Mrs. Sherrill Stancil, | Mrs. Gilbert Woodworth and Mrs. John Wood. GIRL SCOUT TOWN ASSOCIATION PLANS FOR CAMP AT ERWIN MEET The Erwin Girl Scout Town As sociation met Wednesday affcv noon in the Park Center at 3:30 o'clock. > Mrs. Z. E. Matthews, chairman of the association presided over the meeting which was a dis cussion of summer camp. The camp will be held at Mayngrds Lake from June 11 through June 15. The girl scouts and Brownies will leave the Park Cento' each morning during the cap period at 9:30 o’clock and return each afternoon sit four o’clock, with the exception of the last day, 'when the scouts will spend the night. Each camper must pay 31.50 for the camp period and al so have a physical examination by a doctor. Mrs. Matthews reported on a list of camp leaders who have volunteered to help with the camp activities. Mrs. B. G. Thomas, camp di rector, discussed flyers each girl must have before she can attend camp.
