Consolation
J
JUST a “replacement" is “Sparky” j
as he snuggles against the cheek of |
Paul Rhoads, 5, of Detroit. But in j
time, thy puppy may be able to
make Paul forget the tragic fate of
his pet, “Boots," who was shot and
killed before his eyes by a police
man. It seems that “Boots” chased
a police car, and a patrolman, re
cently bitten by a dog, opened fire
on the pup. A year ago, another pet
dog was run over by a car. Paul
hopes “Sparky" will have better
luck. (International Sound photo)
