Lovely fall flowers in colorful shades made the home very pretty for the party. During the evening several games were played and prizes were award ed to Mrs. Wayman Byrd, and Mrs. Mae Quick. Following ihe games Mrs. John Wilbourne, Stanley, agent, displayed her products and took orders for them. • Later in the evening the hostess served home made chocolate cake, pickles and coffee. The ground has been cleared and a good bit of grading hky been done. Work on the build ing will be started in the near fu ture. The Fidelis Sunday School Class of Coats Baptist Church held its regular monthly meeting at the home of Mrs. Carlos Stewart Tues day night. Mrs. Percy Parrish had charge of the program. The new officers for the incoming year were installed. After the business part of the meeting the group was serv ed delicious refreshments by Mrs. Stewart and her co-hostess, Mrs. Willis. MRS. CREASMAN SPEAKS The Baptist Church was very fortunate to have Mrs. C. D. Creas man of Nashville, Tenn., to speak at the evening service. Mrs. Creas man is one of the WM.U. South wide Leaders. She brought a very interesting message. BACK TO SCHOOL The following young people of Coats have returned to school within the last few days. In Lillington Wednesday afternoon to organize a program of work for the school year. The meet ing was in charge of Miss Baade MassengiU, Elementary supervisor and Mr. Kelly coordinator ot edu cation. Mr. Kelly is new in the county this year. We welcome him to our county. program planned Representative Carson Gregory is sponsoring an entertainment at Coats school auditorium by Bailey Brothers Hillblllys.
