of the Hoopers last night as one
of the many affairs in honor of

brides, were remembered with gifts
of ashtrays. Miss Wilborn and Mr.
Warren received a pair of stiver
and crystal compotes from the hos
tesses.
A lovely centerpiece of small yel
low and white chrysanthemums I
were centered with large chrysan
themums in a silver bowl and en
circled with candelabras holding
yellow tapers on a charming green
linen table cloth. Fruit and fall
leaves made a colorful arrangement
on the buffet.

served molded chicken salad from
one end of the dinner table, Mrs.
J. O. Warren served pineapple sal
al and Mrs. William Black of Ral
eigh poured coffee.
Around twenty-five guests were
present for the dinner party.
