Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Dun can, Jr., were co-hosts with the Turners for the affair. Colorful fall flowers were used in lovely bouquets for the evening’s play. During progressions assorted candies were passed and at the end of play platters of sandwiches, cheese ritz, cookies and coffee were enjoyed by the group. High score for the ladies in bridge went to Mrs. Lewis God win, who received a lovely cut glass vase from the hosts. High scorer among the men was Ed Wade who was awarded Old Spice shaving lotion. Receiving high score in Canasta for the ladies was Mrs. Lorman Dupree. Shaving lotion was presented David Adams for high score in Canasta for the men.
