The Dunn girls came over the Newton Grove girls with triumphant scoring. Our Junior Varsity was ahead through j the game until the last six, min utes. Then their boys came romp ing on us and beat us by ten points. Bobby Day Godwin scored ewer half of our points and we’re very proud of him. Next year hell prob ably be on the varsity and aic we glad! Bobby’s been waiting for the day he could get on the team and here’s hoping you make it, Bobby! Around dear old Dunn High, life is dismal without happy Laney Hodges and gay Anne Connor. These two girls are laid tip at home with the flu. We certainly hope you girls come back to school as soon ns possible, so get rid of tl*t mean old flu! TV is not replacing radio or movies half as fast as it is home work. Barbara Snipes is going to the Lion's Club Dance Friday night. And thrilled, my gosh! Tell Us who that cute Junior is, gal! He must be something awful special! Annette Barefoot has had quite a few boys around her, lately.
