Teen Tattle Tales
By LINDA AYCOCK V
Oh, what a ball game! The Dunn
girls came over the Newton Grove
girls with triumphant scoring. Our
Junior Varsity was ahead through
j the game until the last six, min
utes. Then their boys came romp
ing on us and beat us by ten points.
Bobby Day Godwin scored ewer
half of our points and we’re very
proud of him. Next year hell prob
ably be on the varsity and aic we
glad! Bobby’s been waiting for the
day he could get on the team and
here’s hoping you make it, Bobby!
Around dear old Dunn High, life
is dismal without happy Laney
Hodges and gay Anne Connor. These
two girls are laid tip at home with
the flu. We certainly hope you girls
come back to school as soon ns
possible, so get rid of tl*t mean
old flu!
TV is not replacing radio or
movies half as fast as it is home
work.
Barbara Snipes is going to the
Lion's Club Dance Friday night.
And thrilled, my gosh! Tell Us who
that cute Junior is, gal! He must
be something awful special!
Annette Barefoot has had quite
a few boys around her, lately. Bud
dy Bush is one of her old faith
fuls, them Sonny Carr showed her
some good times there before
Christmas, and now William May
nard is her favorite beau. Well,
Annette, how do you do it? Not
many girls are fortunate as you
having so many boy-friends. Lucky
gal!
Seems that Virginia Lee Vann
doesn’t have Fleming Glover on
, her mind as much as I thought.
She has a certain Donald Jackson
prying right through. In band
Morton Fleishman talks to her all
the time, so Donald just better
watch out.
, Raymond West has done it again.
This time he’s got Mary Lou West
brook. These two have been dating
a lot lately. They certainly make
I a cute couple and we’re glad to
see they like each other. Have a
\ good time, keedst
. Joyce Godwin says she’s glad to
‘ have Walter Byrd back in school
after his staying out with a bad
j cold Monday and Tuesday. Pat But
/ler feels the same way about Dick
[ Tart now that he’s back. He’s been
. out for the same reason. Truly
, boys, It’s nice to see your faces
; again!
II wonder who Elaine Neighbors
likes nbw-a-dayi. Such a cute girl
shouldn’t be going around without
a regular beau. She must have given
you boys the slip. I remember
r 1 when Bobby Dixon would give any
e if that gal would just speak to
him.

Know a couple that looks more

I hear that “Heavy” Barefoot hns
a new girlfriend. Who is she. Bob

Seems that Charlie Dorman also
has a cute girl over thataway.
Maybe you can get some Informa
tion from these boys. Shall we
try?
Wednesday night Jewel McLean
was seen at the ball game with
Donald Billy Johnson. The next
morning she waked up with pto
maine poison.
Margaret Godwin and Billy Bare
foot are getting along fine these
days. She looks so happy every
time you mention his name. He
likes her a lot too. They certainly
make a cute couple!
DID YOU KNOW:
That Billy Ray Godwin and Mar

That Jimmy Sills is a very wit
