squaring I see many boys and
girls smooth dancing and looking
into each other's eyes as though
no one else is around. "But this U
broken up, as Fleming Glover
breaks in. But, yes, Fleming seems
to attract the girls in the same
way as their very best boy-friends.
How for a look at the concession
Stand. A-h-s—sandwiches, cokps,
and candy seem to attract the
girls and boys as well as the
dancing. And no wonder—the
most wonderful food I’ve ever seen
at a party.
Are we fortunate! Monday
morning at 8:35, Jack Raymond
was on hand to present a reptile
show at Dunn Hi. In case you
haven’t heard, it’s a SNAKE show!
Not long ago we had Mr. Bobo, the
Magician, to entertain us. He was
hilarious and we enjoyed him very
much. Lots of tricks!
Frank Spruill: “Give to the world
the best you have, and the best
will come to you!”
Fleming Glover: "Yeah, that’s
the way it's been with every poem
I’ve written so far!”
Oh, man! What's this I hear
about a race Wednesday night! I
hear the champ, Harvey Eldrldge,
was beat by a bunch of girls in a
Ford. Harvey was reported to have
lost two bearings out of a wheel.
This so, Harvey ? ? ?
Troubles Around:
. Fleming Glover—Girl trouble.
Frank Spruill—Pat trouble.
Alice Lou Jacltfson—
him trouble.
Buddy Bush—Passing graded
trouble.
Jon Fitchett—Work trouble.
William Corbett—No trouble.
Did you see the movies Mon
day? “Bend Os The River” was
held over 'til Wednesday by popu
lar demand. It was a swell picture
with Rock Hudson, James Stew
art, and Julia Adams to bring out
beauty. Rock surely did look good,
I’ll say! If you didn’t see it, you
have miss something! Be sure to
see it the first chance you have!
Jerry Butler: “You never kiss me
unless you want money!”
Mott: "Well, isn’t that often
enough?”
Well, whata ya know? Two en
tertainments Monday. There was
a band concert Monday night.
Music, music, music! And all kinds
so come one, come all, we can take
you! William Corbett played solo
coronet. "Deep Blues" was his spec
ialty and he really did good!
A sign in front of the shoe shop
displayed various styles of hub
ber heels and a picture of a beau
tiful girl, who was saying, “I’m In
love with America’s No. 1 heel.”
Just below, in an inmistakable
/feminine handwriting, someone
had added: “Too bad, sister. I
married him!”
. It you look good enough, you'll
see Pati Butler and Dick Tart up
town together just before work’.
They certainly seem to be in love.
The way she smiles when you
mention him! Whew!
Did You Know: v
Becky Bryant has given up boys?
They don’t suit her!
Virgil Early and Pat Lanier are
singing the love-bird tune?
Ethelyn Maxwell does a very
good job of embroidering? Look on
her windbreaker.
’ D. R. Lee is Laney Hodges very
favorite beau? Will be for a long
tlmd too!
Bobby Day Godwin. is just the
type for Jane Westbrook?
The "Senior play, “When I Was
Green,” is being practiced every
nite?
Fleming Glover is the most tra
vel-minded person? Wants to leave
town! (And who doesnk?)
Spring football training started
last Monday afternoon?
Jennie Ruth Barbour is going
to Campbell College?
Reports came out Monday?
Since the break-up of Becky
Lee and Don Johnson, he’s been
very eligible?
By the time you read this Pat
Johnson will be Mrs. Willie Bran
an!. She left Wednesday for Mem
phis. She’s certainly going to be
happy, she says, and we know she
will. Gosh, married to the man you
love. Wonder if anything like that
will ever happen to me?

it perfected by the latter party of
March and we can hardly wait. It
takes a lot of time and hard work
to put something like this over and
so far the results have been won

appreciation for the efforts of the
