Mrs. Mary McLean McDonald, 84.
widely known resident of Lillington
Route 2. died Sunday afternoon at
4:45 o’clock at the home of her
stepson, Wilson McDonald. She had
been in ill health for sometime.
Funeral services will be held
Tuesday morning at 11 o’clock at
the Ephesus Presbyterian Church
on Lillington. Route 2. The Rev. I.
E. Hager will officiate. Burial will
be in the Summerville Church Cem
etery.
Surviving are two daughters, Miss
Flora McDonald of Lillington, Rout
2, two stepsons, Wilson McDonald

Byrd Infant Is
Buried Today
Rex West Byrd, two-day old son
of Mr. and Mrs. Roy L. Byrd of
Erwin, Rt. 1, died Sunday night at
the Good Hope Hospital in Erwin.
Graveside services were conducted
Monday afternoon at four o’clock
at the Friendship Church cemetery
of Bunnlevel. The Rev. A. C. Mc-

The baby is survived by the par
ents, Roy L. and Beulah West Byrd
of Erwin Rt. 1, the grandparents,
