TUESDAY AFTERNOON, APRIL 22, 1952 Martha Lee Is Honored On 18th Birthday In Erwin Mrs. Paul Lee entertained at a J party at the park center Saturday evening complimenting her daugh ter Martha on her 18th birthday. Mrs. E. L. Sewell and Mrs. H. S. Warren assisted her. . The club room was beautifully decorated, with bowls of spring flowers. Pink and green crepe paper streamers weie tied from the sides of the room and brought to gethei overhead. The table was covered with a white cloth and centered with the J lovely pink and green birthday ’cake, holding 18 candles. Pink tapers in crystal holders were also used on the table. The punch bowl which was placed on one end of the table was presided ovbr by Mis. Lee. Mints, salted nuts, open ace and libbon sandwiches, pick les, olives and individual cake squares were also served. The group sang “Happy Birthday” to Martha and she blew out the candles. She then opened her k many lovely gifts for everyone to see. The remainder of the evening the girls and boys enjoyed dancing to recorded music.
