Others making up the two tables were Miss Vir ginia Coggins, Mrs. Meredith Sen p;r, ICf: s. Joe Brown, Mts. Joe Bordeaux, Mrs. W. T. Simmons, Jr., Mrs. George Carroll, Jr. Cokes and potato chips were passed during the card games and at the conclusion the hostess serv ed a frozen banana salad, tea and W sandwiches. LILLiNGTON PERSONALS TO KENTUCKY Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Awbrey will leave next week to visit relatives in Upton, Ky. HOME FROM TRIP Rev. and Mrs. T. W. Williams and sons, Tommy and Johnny, a have returned from a motor trip “ to Niagra Falls and Canada. AT BEACH Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lewis and son, Frankie, spent from Saturday through Monday at Carolina Beach. MRS PEEDE IMPROVED Mrs. A. W. Peede is reported improved at Pittman Hospital where she recently underwent an operation for a fractured hip. ® IN KNOXVILLE Miss Veve Caviness went to I Asheville on Thursday where she joined her sister, Miss Edith Ann Caviness, for a trip to Knoxville where the latter is stationed with the American Red Cross. They plan to return to Lillington on Sunday. AT THE BEACH Mr. and Mrs.' Roger Man and children, Kathy and Mike, and Mr. and Mrs. George Carroll, Jr., spent V the weekend at Carolina Beach. The Manns are staying a short while with Mrs. Mann’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. HOME FROM GERMANY ISgt. and Mrs. Gene Bradley and children, Stephen and Susan, ar rived here early Wednesday from Stuttgart, Germany for a visit with his mother, Mrs. Rheta Bradley. Sergeant Bradley has been with the American occupation forces. He and his family drove from New York and will have 45 days leave before reporting for another army assignment. Mrs. Bradley is the former Miss Dorothy Baird of Salt Lake City, Utah and they plan to spend part of the leave with her relatives in Utah. GO TO MONTGOMERY Mrs. James B. Turner and chil dren, Mike and Bobby, left Wed nesday to make their home in ' Montgomery, Ala. Staff Sgt. Tur- I ner, who recently returned from service in the Far Eastern Corn | mand has been stationed at Max , well Field. He came to Lillington |on Monday and accompanied his I family to Montgomery. Mrs. Tur ner and the boys have resided here [nearly two years with her parents, i Sgt. and Mrs. J. B. Smith. TO NEW ENGLAND | Mr. and Mrs. E. R. Davis will leave during the coming weekend for a trip to Boston and other parts of New England where they will visit relatives of Mr. Davis. AT MYRTLE BEACH Mrs. J. R. Baggett and her daughter-in-law, Mrs. J. R. Bag gett, Jr., and children, Keeter and William, are vacationing at Myrtle ! Beach, S. C. Mrs. Addye Collins, I mother of Mrs. J. R. ON VACATION Mr. and Mrs. Ira Porter and two children are spending several days this week at Cape Hatteras. GARRELLS TO MOVE Mrs. Mary Garrell and her daughters, Misses Pat and Gail Garrell, will leave shortly to make their home in Raleigh. Miss Mary Jane Garrell, who attended Wo man’s College in Greensboro this year, left three weeks ago to en roll in Hardbarger’s Secretarial School In Raleigh. Mrs. Garrell came to Lillington nearly two years ago from Whiteville and since coming here has been associated with the county health department and more recently was office nurse for Dfl A. W. Peede. ATTEND CONFERENCE C. H. Brock, Jr., has returned home from Louisburg where he attended the Methodist Young Peo ple’s Assembly. He represented the Lillington Methodist Youth Fel lowship. Miss Ann Jackson is in Red Springs this week where she is a representative of the Lillington church at the Presbyterian young people’s conference at Flora Mac donald College. AT CAMP Ralph Shaw left during the weekend for Mobile, Ala. where he will attend an Air Force R.O.T.C. training camp for the next four weeks. A rising senior at N. C. State College he is the son of Mrs. J. M. Shaw. IN FLORIDA Mrs. G. E. Daniel is spending some time with her son, Gilmore Daniel, at Orlando, Fla. Eason Announces Healing Revival Schedule Services will begin June 26th at 7:45 p. m. in the mammoth heal ing campaign to be held by the Church of God in East Erwin. There will be a service each night at the above time it is re ported by the Rev. J. R. Eason, pastor of the church. Rev. Douglas who - has just re turned from an around the world preaching tour will conduct the healing services each night for 16 nights. The Rev.
