The program chairman. Miss Ann Pleasants was in charge and planned a most in teresting program. After the busi ness session they returned to the Home Economics Department for refreshments. The officers for this group were elected last May. Miss Fay Dene Moore is President and Miss Sue Johnson is Secretary. The girls in this organization are show ing much interest in making it one oi their best years. Dr. Williamson, who will be the instructor for the course, comes very highly recommended. She is a person of dynamic per sonality. and seems able to make the work interesting to those who plan to take the course. Graduate and undergraduates as well as cer ! tificate credit can be obtained. A religious film entitled "You ! Can't Win." was presented by the Coats Methodist Church, at the I Community Building, on last Sun day evening. The film was based I on a sermon by Dr. Bob Jones. Sr., iof the Bob Jones University. A large number attended, j Damage Slight In Fire At Erwin Damage from a fire at the cot ton warehouse of the Erwin Mills at Erwin was confined to one bale and a loss of about 65 pounds of cotton, it was reported today.
