£ MONDAYAFTERNOON, OCTOBER 27, 1952 DUNN COLONIAL DAMES MEMBERS ARE HOSTS AT LUNCHEON SATURDAY The North Carolina Society of Colcnial Dames of the Seventeenth Century at their luncheon meeting in the General Lee Room of John son’s Restaurant listened with in terest to the inspiring address made by Hon. J. Shepard Bryan. Legal Advisor to the National Society. Mr. Bryan warned his hearers of the recent socialistic trend in gov ernment and urged the members to use their organized strength to pre serve the freedoms won by their forefathers in early colonial days. The meeting was opened with prayer by the Chaplain, Mrs. Thom as Stamps cf Raleigh and the pledge of Allegiance to the flag was led by Mrs. Roy P. Rosseau of Sanford, flag chairman. Mrs. W. C. Tucker cf Greens boro. state president, presided over the business session which followed the address. Reports were heard from state officers and various chairmen. Mrs. J. W.
