Miss Billye Pope
At Fort Brogg
Mrs. Joseph R. Shelton, the for
mer Miss Allie Hyman of Dunn, en
tertained at a lovely luncheon on
Wednesday at one o’clock honoring
Miss Billye Pope, bride-elect of this
month. The affair was held on the
Sun porch of the Main Post Officers
Club at Fort Bragg.
Guests assembled in the auxiliary
lounge of the club where they were
served appetizers and the honorec
was presented a pretty wh’te car
nation corsage.
The guests then retired to. the
sun porch and found their places
marked with attarctive bridal place
cards.
The table held a beautiful cen
terpiece made up of white car
nations; and fern arranged in a sil
ver bowl.
A delicious three course luncheon,
consisting of chicken cones, but •
tered cauliflower. parslied potatoes,
garden tossed salad, lime chiffon
pie ar coffee was enjoyed by the
