Felton Is the son of Mr. and Mrs. A. O. : Godwin. The children played several games and contests with prizes going to J. E. Coats, Judy Prince, and Dale Norris. Later Felton’s mother served Hits crackers, birthday cake, cook ies, homemade fudge, and iced rinks, ghe was assisted by Mrs. John Raynor and Mrs. Bill Mat thews. Felton opened the many nice gifts he received from the children at tending his party. Brannon has been el ected vice president of Tau Beta Pi, national honor fraternity, at Jltate, College. Membership in Tau Tteta Pi is considered one of the highest honors that can be bestowed upon student engineers. A Thanksgiving note was evi denced in the table decorations ard the dinner, which consisted of a de licious turkey and dressing plate with pecan pie and coffee. Mrs. Angela Shell gave the Invocation. Mrs. Nathan Cannady, president, presided and a brief business sess ion was held. The finance committee was in charge of the program which was an auction sale, the proceeds to go into a scholarship fund for a girl to attend nursing school. Members of the club brought the articles to be sold and Nathan Cannady served as auctioneer. The doors were thrown Open to the public at Johnson’s and guests were invited to participate in the sale. Around 30 members of the B <fe PW attended the meeting. Mrs. Stand I Has Meeting Os Entre Alio Bridge Club M’-s. Bill Stancil was hostess on Wednesday evening to members of the Entre Alia Bridge club and a special guest, Mrs. Frank Clifton. Rose buds formed one of the bouquets in the living room and an arraneement of pyracanthia berries was also used. At the conclusion of the bridge game, Mrs. Lewis Godwin .held the high score tally and was given a straw cornucopia. Mrs. Edwin Ste-' wart cantured a novelty gravy boat for second high and consolation, dusting powder, went to Mrs. Mack Bamfoot.
