We are really working on our
attendance. For three days our
flag has been on our door. That
means that everyone was present.
Our coughs are not so bad now.
We have been saying over and
ov«!r “Whenever you have to
cough or sneeze, cover your mouth'
with ycur handkerchief please.
This helps to keep cold germs away
from others.
We used to print our letters.
Now we are writing like grown,
ups. You should see us write. We
like to do this.
Just before Christmas, we entered
a coloring contest at Sear’s Store
up town. Johnny Whittenton won
the set of guns. We sure were
proud of him.
We have joined the Junior Red
Cross: Earl Bennett, Johnny God
win, Glenn Jernigan, Larry Snipes,
Larry Strickland, Cjea Ammofis,
Kay Barefoot, Saundra Coats, Ca
rolyn Falrcloth, Janice Godwin.
Donna Melcher, and Patty Willi
ford. Look for more names neit
week. We think that many of the
others will join after hearing Mrs.
Grace Swain talk about “Junior
Red Cross” work.
