The bride, after graduating from Benson High School, entered the Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing in Charlotte. She has been on the staff of the Monterey Hos pital in Monterey, California. Grand Slam Club Met At Welborn Home The Grand Slam Bridge Club met last night at 7:30 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Welborn. Lovely arrangements of daisies and glads decorated the living room. An arrangement of roses was in the dining room. High score winners for the eve ning were Mrs. Ed Wade and Mr. Paul Walker. An outdoor wiener roast with all the trimmings, cold drinks and watermelon were enjoyed by the following members: Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Mann, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Walker, Mr. Norwood Stephenson, and the host and hostess. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Wade were guests for the evening. , AT MYRTLE BEACH Mr. and Mrs. Vic Anderson left today for a two weeks visit at 1 Myrtle Beach. Mrs. Stephens Was Canasta Club Hostess 7 Mts. Ella Neal Raynor Honored On Eighth Birthday Ella Neal Raynor, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Raynor of Dunn, was honored on her eighth birthday Thursday afternoon with a party given at their home from 3:30 till 5 o’clock. Upon the guests arrival they were served pink lemonade by Gln ny Anderson. Later, games were directed on the lawn by Mrs. Jeff Denning and Mrs. Ralph Maxwell. After enjoying games the guests were invited into the porch, which was decorated with balloons, for refreshments consisting of pink decorated birthday cake, cheese wafers, peanuts, potato chips, and ice cream. Ivan Adams of Walston tourg performed the single ring ceremony. A program of nuptial music was presented by Miss Jean Adams of Newton Grove who played “Ind ian Love Call”, "Becausg”, “The Sweetest Story Ever Told”, and the traditional wedding marches. The couple entered the church unattended. The bride wore an embroidered dress of pink organza white accessories, and a white car nation corsage. Immediately after the ceremony the young couple left for a stay at Nags Head. The bride is a graduate of Mea dow High School, class of 1955.
