Mrs. Brant Medlin was directress. Mrs. Woodlief, mother of the bride, wore a navy ensemble of crepe. Mrs. Howell, mother of the bridegroom, wore navy lace and both wore purple orchid corsages. The bride is a graduate of Ben son High School and Peace Junior College, Raleigh. The bridegroom attended the University of North Carolina. He is associated in business in Raleiga where the young couple will estab lish residence at 1188 South Boy lan Avenue, following a week’s | honeymoon trip to the mountains of Western North Carolina and Tennessee. Following the ceremony tire couple paused briefly at the church lawn to greet friends. When they left later the bride was attired in a navy blue dress with which she used white accessories. At her shoulder was the white orchid which she carried in the wedding cere mony. Mr. and Mrs. Otis Whittington and children and Mr, and Mrs. Robert Wheeler have returned from a weekend spent at Carolina Beach. Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Barnes of Angier were their guests at the shore.
