Surprise Party
Barbara Jones was honored on her
fourteenth birthday with a sur
prise party Friday night at 7:30.
The party was held at the home of ■
her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. F. i

During the evening, dancing was
enjoyed to recorded music, and
games were played.
The beautiful orange chiffon
cake was topped with orange icing,
and the number "14". Refreshments
were served consisting of cake,
ice cream, nuts, and punch. Mrs.
Jones was seriated in serving by
Mrs. Ruby Thornton and Joyce
Thornton.

a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Talmon
Penny. Dried arrangements in var

brass holders, and other brass ap
pointments decorated the home.

with the cutting of the wedding
cake reserved form the honored
coupie and their family.
Callers signed their names in gold
ink in the register in the gift
room where-Mr. and Mrs. Haywood
Penny received.
