It’s Detobie’s show — 1 Ted Crail. Barefoot Rites Held On Sunday Edgar D. Barefoot, 40, of Route 1, Wade died suddenly Friday night at his home. Funeral servcles were conducted Sunday afternoon at 4:00 from Wade Baptist Church. The Rev. Paul Wrcnn and the Rev. Robert E. Merrell officiated. Burial was in the Greenwood Cemetery In Dunn. A native of Cumberland Coun ty, son, of Junis B. Barefoot and ■the late Dona Norris Barefoot, he was a deacon of the Wade Baptist Church and teacher of the young men’s class. He was the director of the Baptist Training Union. He Is survived by his wife, Mrs. Laura Mae Chapman Barefoot, his father, Junta B, Barefoot; of Springlak,e noe son, Edgar Earl Barefoot of the home; one daugh ter, Glenda Barefoot of the home; three brothers, Hardy Barefoot of Baltimore; Astor Barefoot of Nor folk, Clarence A.
