Paul Strickland graciousfy entertained Miss Mar garet Strickland and Mr. George Estvapder, members of their wed ding party, out town guests and a few clase friends at a cake cut ting Saturday evening following the rehear sal. For thfi oceassion the Strick land home was attractively decor ated with white poinsettas and greenery. Mr. and Mrs. Herman Strickland greeted the guests as they arrived and presented them to the host p.nd hosess and he hon ored couple. The dinintt table was covered with a matieria cut-work cloth an dcentered with an arrangements of white chrysanthemums and snapdragon thanked by tall white tapers in low silver holders. Jeweled Christmas trees and or naments completed the table ap pointments. Mrs. Stephen Molnar ol Cleveland, Ohio, poured punch and Mrs. T. A. Core served the three tier green and white wed ding cake after Miss Strickland and Mrs. Estvander cut the tradi tional first slice. Miss Lettie Strickland and little Miss Molly Rogers of High Point presided at the service table. He had been in declining health for sev eral years. Funeral services were conduct ed Sunday at 2 p.m. at Morris Chapel Methodist church by the Rev. M. D. McLamb. pastor, the Rev. T. H. House and the Rev. J. B. Garrett. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mr. Cameron was a native of Harnett county, the son of the late Daniel S. Cameron and Christ ian Cameron, and was a member of one of this section's pioneer families. He served on the board of com missioners of Harnett county for 14 years. He was an active mem ber of Morris Chapel Methodist church and for years was on the board of stewards. Surviving are his wife, the for mer Irma Lee McNeill; one son. land in receiving the guests throug bout the home were Mr. and Mrs. John F. Strickland, Dr. and Mrs. J. A. Jernigan, Mrs. L. W.
