Canasta Club Meets At Elkins Home The Merry Matrons Canasta Club met last night at the home of Mrs. June Elkins. At the completion of the game Mrs. Taylor Stephens- held the high tally with Mrs. Tom Royal, runnerup. Mrs. Lockewood Camp bell was the bingo winner. LILLINGTON FARMER MAKES IT 1021 — Sherwood Wood ol LUlington was the 1021st farmer to sign op to participate in the 1962 feed grain program in Harnett County. The objectives of the program are to increase farm income, reduce stocks of Government-stored grain and provide feed grain at a fair price to participating farmers. The ’61 feed grain program was a sue cess and the ASCS office is confident that par ticipation in 1962 will far surpass that of last year.
