Still Destroyed
In Johnston Co.
A 600-gallon, vat-type whiskey
still in Banner Township of John
ston Coupty was destroyed by law
enforcement ofifcers eorlier this
week. The officers also destroyed
1,800 galons of fermenting mash.
The still was not in operation and
no arrests were made.
Making the raid were Sheriff’s
Deputies Dailey Stewart, Glenn
Cobb, Howard H. Olive, Jr. and
Braxton Hinton and Bentonville
Constable Robey Lee.
