Neal Asheville, were married Sat urday at five o’clock at the Erwin Methodist Church. Rev. The bride’s mother wore an aqua lace outfit with accesso ries to match and the groom’s mother wa3 dressed in pink lace with matching accessories. Both wore white mum corsages. Her husband, a senior at State College majoring in civil engineering, also attended Mars Hill Junior College. CAKE CUTTING Following rehearsal on the eve of the wedding, Mr. and ,Mrs. Stephens entertained at a cake cutting at the church. The serving table was cover ed with a white linen cloth and centered with an arrangement of yellow glads, mums and fern. A three tiered wedding cake was served after the coiiple had cut the traditional first slice. Party Held For Earl Core, HI Edwin Earl Core, HI, was ho nored August 17 on the eve of his second birthday by his mo ther. The little guests were served cup cakes, potato chips, candy , and Kool Aid.
