Members of the Senior Woman’s
Club became acquainted with the
forthcoming bond election at the
club’s Tuesday meeting. John F.
Stoler, Jr., who is directing the
campaign here, explained to the
women in detail why Dunn needs
a new hospital and the benefits
that can be derived from it.
The setting for the meeting, the
clubhouse on South Layton Ave
nue, was brightened with red
hearts, red geraniums and camel
lias. The dining table was centered
with an old fashioned Valentine
with red camellias. Decorations for
the event were provided by Mrs.
Claude Cheek.
Sandwiches, assorted cookies and
coffee were served during a social
period prior to the meeting
Mfs. Howard Dixon presided and
introduced the speaker. After his
talk; a question and answer period
was: held.

On Wednesday afternoon at 8:00,
Brownie Troop 86 was feted at
a Valentine party. The affair was
held at the regular meeting place
